Yes, my emotions at the moment are perfectly expressed by the age old phrase “OH MY GOODNESS!!!” Three weeks!!! 3 weeks till I leave Canada… 3 weeks till I meet my team…. 3 weeks and my life changes drastically for the next nine months. It feels really surreal… it probably will right up until the day I leave! I’m SO excited though… it’s hard to think about anything except South Africa these days!
I can’t believe I only have a 7 days of work left… at the beginning of the summer it seemed like this time would never come, and yet here it is. God taught me alot this summer about just trusting in Him and resting in His sufficiency each day. He is faithful! The support money is finally starting to come in… God truly is an awesome provider, and people have been so generous! So thank you everyone, and thank you God! I know He’ll provide just as He deems best… and my worrying about it doesn’t help (why do I have to learn this over and over again! 🙂 ) and I just have to trust Him.
Soon these posts will be written from the other side of the world… I can’t wait for that day!
