Just an example of the way my Saviour romances my heart:
I took this picture while in Cape Town for spring break this past week. Isn’t God amazing? I never stop being amazed at the beautiful things in creation that speak of His love and His power. Lately I’ve been filled with awe of His beauty and I feel I’m in a place right now of just loving Him, at all times and all places. Even just taking a long-ish taxi ride yesterday in Cape Town, I had my window down, the cool wind rushing against my face as I gazed out at Table mountain with the late afternoon sun casting a golden glow on its surface, and I was filled with such love for my God that I couldn’t keep a smile from spreading across my face, and I felt Him speak words of love to my heart, just as sure as I saw the mountain before me. So right now I’m just in a place of peace, loving Him and appreciating His beauty.
A few more reasons why I love Him:
This is me with Bungani and Boya, two boys that have definitely stolen my heart.
And here’s just a pic of me in Cape Town:
So I’m back home in J-Bay now, but only for 2 days, because the team is leaving on the 5th for Lesotho. We’ll be there for two weeks – please pray for an amazing team experience as well as productive ministry. None of us really knows what to expect, except for the fact that we’ll be roughing it to the extreme – should be fun! I’ll be out of contact with the so-called ‘modern civilization’ for those two weeks, so I’ll update on the adventure when I get back!
I just want to say thank-you again to everyone who has supported me with prayers and financial support. It means the world to me and this experience has been life-changing and amazing in so many different ways. God bless you all, and I’m coming home in a month and a half!
